About this deal

She had some really important advice, life lessons, and empowering quotes, but the rest of this book fell flat for me. I sincerely hope the process of writing and publishing this memoir helped her further on her healing path. But Madison's casual way of describing her struggles with mental health and the trauma she is trying to work through surely is a powerful message to her fans, and anyone else who struggles the same.

this girl means so much to me, i remember meeting her in london and not being able to say a single world because i was so shocked that she was right in front of me. Decider said the plot is "an unbearably cute premise—a modern-day Cyrano de Bergerac with a queer twist—that seems so perfect and so obvious, it’s a wonder the movie hasn’t been made yet", and "an adorable teen film that will no doubt service an extremely underserved audience. They connect over their shared interests in literature and art, though Aster believes she is communicating with Paul. I gave up on this dream for several reasons one of them being the ugly truth of fame and I pray for everyone who's going through a hard time. people really don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors and to read her being so vulnerable makes me so proud of her.

The reason Wu went with Netflix as her production company is that those in the industry said that more people will watch it on Netflix, even though a theatrical release would give her better renown.

Still though, I picked this up in hopes of getting to know her better, and that didn't exactly happen. I liked the writing, hopefully this isn't the last we've seen of Madison Beer's book writing journey.

For Madison the element of her story that I think could be understood with more empathy is that she had this universal experience exacerbated by the pressure of fame. I may sound weak but I'm fragile like that, That is how I was shaped due to the sharp edges of words. She talks about how careful she is when she opens up because she doesn't want to be seen as ungrateful or out of touch with reality (since, you know, other people have it worse and all that). it would be fun if it was more of a what i’ve learnt by 24 in this industry and everything that’s happened so far book, instead of just focused so much on internet bullies. i’ve seen a few reviews which say they wish there was more depth here, but madison is only 24 and has a lot of life left to live, so we can’t really expect wealths of wisdom, and i don’t think that’s her intention with this book anyway.
