At first it smells alright, then that obnoxious fruitiness found in Paco Rabanne’s Phantom kicks in. Even the woody base note fits perfectly into the interplay and underlines the fragrance wonderfully.I get a bit of the chemical/hairspray in the opening some have mentioned but that is gone in seconds and then its amazing.

Top notes are Apple, Green Mandarin, Cardamom and Violet; middle notes are Mango, Lavender, Black Pepper, Patchouli and Peony; base notes are Vanilla, Amber, Vetiver, Teak Wood and Moss.Middle fragrance note: Here, floral and spicy elements such as lavender, jasmine and clove predominate, which are given additional character by a pinch of pepper. Every artist wanted their song mixed and mastered louder and louder and over the years the result became zero dynamic range and audible clipping and harshness. Either stick to Sauvage or try out Montblanc Legend Red, Polo Red Parfum, or something in that ballpark.

I do not reccomend wearing this in an office environment, but this deffinetly works for a party or social environment. The opening might throw you off because it comes off very citrussy but that quickly fades away about 30 mins in.If you're not really young this might make you look like you have the Peter Pan syndrome - another man that doesn't want to grow up. The bottle is also very beautiful and it's already getting hype everywhere even with the Intense version.

Don't know that I would drop much more than that on it, and I certainly don't have frequent occasion to wear it. Overall my reccomendation is this: if you want a great clubbing scent, get Dior Sauvage Elexir, if you don't likke Elexir, then get this. Eau de Parfum for an intense long-lasting fragrance experience - the ideal accompaniment from morning to evening.
